About

I was born in the “Mountains of Appalachia” the fifth of seven children (due to yours, mine and ours). I was the first of ours and the third of four boys. The odd thing about it is that I look nothing like any of my siblings (recessive genes at work on that one), but I do favor my grandfather on my Dad’s side.

I possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA. I am a CPA by trade. I’m good at what I do, but I’d rather make my living writing novels. God willing, that will happen one of these days.

I have a wife and child who keep me rather busy. My child in the most important person in my life. I wish I had a dozen more.

My hobbies include collecting toys soldiers and the outdoors. I guess I’m a “big old redneck” because I feel most at home in the woods. I also love almost any outdoor sport. Basically, if it can get you killed, I like it.

My writing contains towns and cities that really exist. Also, I spent five years in the Marine Corps so some military things invariably find their way into my writings.

Lastly, the one thing I absolutely love is football; I am Southern. I even enjoy rugby having played it in the military. My favorite teams are the Marshall University Thundering Herd, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. I follow the Herd and the Riders religiously.

I hope you like my work. If you do, tell your friends and family. I’d like to find an agent that will represent my work.

Thank you for reading my stories. I deeply appreciate it!!!
